A beautiful wedding we shot this past June that had it all- great food, killer florals & decor, and of course, an adorable couple oh so in love! The bride and groom made all the decor themselves, and it was artfully installed by Mr.Caballero Creative, who also arranged all of the gorgeous florals. The bride, Ilana, recently partnered up with her cousin to launch their own wedding planning company, aptly named BookEnd Events. The awesome folded books are all courtesy of the creative groom Mark, who has his own etsy shop here.

Alissa & Todd are dear old friends of ours, and we were so honored to have been able to capture their beautiful day. We were also very pleased the sweet Jen from the fabulous Green Wedding Shoes wanted to feature it. A & T’s wedding was not only filled with style, but had a few of our favorite wedding peeps involved as well: Steve Pappin a.k.a. Son of Sharkpig, Ashley Bryant formerly of Bash, Please and now with Mein Schatz, and the ever boogie inducing, Michael Antonia a.k.a. Happy New Year!

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! We’d been working like crazy right up until the holidays, and then crashed for the last 2 weeks (with the exception of one wonderful wedding last week)…but now we’re back in business and ready to greet this new year. We will be diving right in, and giving you a sneak peek everyday this week, from some of our recent weddings.

We’re very lucky to have awesome friends, who also just happen to be amazingly creative. Every Tuesday, we meet with our dear buddies Mr. Caballero Creative (Jeffrey Caballero) + Geronimo Balloons (Jihan Zencirli) and work together, whether it’s on personal endeavors, or group projects. We just started this recently, and in just a couple days whipped up this cute mini Autumnal inspiration shoot below (with help of delicious & adorable treats from Bottega Louie). Flowers, fruits, and co-styling by Mr. Caballero Creative. Balloon, Frill, props and co-styling by Geronimo Balloons. Photos by Love Me Sailor, of course!

The lovely Steffani & Linton, who’s wedding is going to be a feast for the eyes!

We shot Allison & Mark’s wedding mostly on film, at the beautiful Los Angeles Arboretum in August. The whole wedding, including bride & groom, consisted of 14 people. They were married by Mark’s father, and during the very touching ceremony, even I was crying (and laughing. Allison is hilarious). They followed up the ceremony with a charming dinner in San Marino, at a restaurant called Julienne.

I love this couple, and I love this wedding. The simplicity and intimacy of it reminds us what weddings are really all about-absolute true love.
